This will be our first devotion together...I hope we can do it. It will be a little strange that I am not there with you, but heck we don't have to get together at all to make this work. We can do this on our own time and still keep in touch and talk about God and being a mom. Should be great!
Remember we can't start this until April 1st since I won't be in the house until then and won't have everything set up. I do have the book and could start earlier if you both want. Let me know what you like. The book has 52 chapters so we can do one chapter a week for a year.
Good thing they are short chapters!
Let me know your thoughts. We can do all the back and forth about the book on the blog, but email about everything else with our regular emails.

Hey girls! Hope your kids are asleep like mine so you can enjoy some "you" time. I read the first chapter and we will really enjoy this book! My mom, like Lisa's, would paint a much different sounding picture of me than I would. She'd probably say "my daughter Debbie is a great mother and very patient(yeah right), she belongs to a MOMs club (barely participating), good with money (learned the long way finally), attends church and bible study every Sunday when she's not teaching the children (reads lesson that morning), works hard cleaning houses (to get away form my family), takes care of aging father-in-law (just by taking him to a few dr appts.)". Etc., etc. But I believe God would say I was nice, charitable, compassionate, and honest. What I hope to be called someday is devout. Love, Debbie
